Adding Person Certification Information

Certification information for the person contains the steps required for a person to fulfill their training certification requirements.

Which Requirements Transfer to Certification Information?

All role specific requirements will transfer to the Certification information folder. For example, the below requirement called gMP Training is listed four times under the Requirements folder of the Person record; however, it is role specific for two roles : QA MGR and AUDITOR which means it will display twice under the Certification Information folder which means the person must fulfill the requirement based on QA MGR role policies and AUDITOR role policies.

The other two requirements for gMP are not role specific, meaning that only one of these requirements will transfer to the Certification Information folder for the person to have to fulfill because both of these requirements inherit the same policy and are not role specific.

A manager with the appropriate rights can add a requirement to a person’s Certification Information folder when the requirement does not affect the person’s certification status now, but may in the future. For example, this applies if the requirement is in anticipation of a role or position change.

  1. From the Person record, click the Certification Information link.
  2. Click Action > Add.
  3. Zoom from the Requirement No. field to select the documents or courses to be added.
  4. Check the Need Trainer Sign-off checkbox or specify the Plan Date to schedule this requirement.
  5. Enable the Certify Now option if you want to indicate that the person already received certification.

NOTE: If you enabled the Certify Now option, enter a Comment, Last Date Obtained, and Password.

  1. Click the Save button.
    Result: The requirement has been added to the Person record.
